WEB SITE DESIGNING How to design your own website |
By Learnzat.com Before you begin to design a Web site, pay particular attention to a proper color scheme. Choosing a suitable color seems to be easy but it is actually hard to fix a proper color. Selecting an appropriate color scheme for your site is of great importance. Your color scheme must be carefully considered because the wrong choices could negatively affect your visitor's experience at your web site. You also want to consider designing a site with simple navigation, familiar icons and buttons, and plain and simple instructions. These are some of the basic ingredients to capturing the interest of your web user. Web users are comfortable with web design features they see all the time on the Internet. The simpler the web design, the easier the navigation and the more you explain how your web site works, the greater your chances of attracting interest and generating leads with your site. If visitors cannot readily find the information they are looking for within your site, or they receive error pages, broken links, or pages with too many moving objects (animations, scrolling menus and text, motion driven flash, marquees) then they are likely to either completely leave your website, never to return, or will miss important information that you wanted them to see. Even with a great looking design, poor navigation will ultimately lead to fewer returning visitors to your website. So, the next time you are reflecting on a design project, think simplicity. |
